I grew up in a Cal family (my dad went there, my mom worked there, we went to their family camp every year) and one of the main things i learned as a kid was that Stanford is an evil place full of wealthy demons and that palo alto is satan’s lair. This was all standard college sports rivalry stuff so it’s weird that it turned out to be true
