They switched sources, so this morning I was greeted by a friendly message with instructions to upgrade the OS.
I did it with sudo upgrade.sh. Everything seemed to be functioning well again.

I also learned a bit about snapd and tried to understand why TuxedoOS blocked it.
And also why Processing only seems to be installable via snap. Didn't find any deb file anymore on there site.
I deblocked and installed snapd, not sure if this is a good thing...
