Lately I tried PeerTube and Loops both but they kinda suck compared to TikTok.

Don't get me wrong, I understand the reasons they do. As well as the fact that by using them I help them grow.

Starting a federated, open source alternative to a major proprietary service is nearly impossible, isn't it.

Makes me even happier for Mastodon being a viable alternative to Twitter.
