Good morning Fediverse.

The initial version of NoBeef, my Fediverse recipe sharing application, works pretty much like moo. Like in the classic fairy tale The Bremen town musicians, stuff is build to stand on top of each other.

This means the difference between writing a Fediverse recipe sharing app and a Fediverse mooing app, is just "How do you publish a recipe/moo?" and "How do you display a recipe/moo?". Both are hard questions. Both are questions that are mostly unrelated to how ActivityPub and all that other protocol nonsense works.

See this storybook for a button to moo and the source.

Displaying a recipe is a lot harder than displaying a moo. In particular, if one wants to allow people to comment, etc ... That's why every Fediverse developer should build a moo app, before building more complicated things.
