At lunch we were discussing why the tech bros would seriously think about putting AI centers into space. It dawned on me that perhaps the real reason is that you are in unregulated space and hence the laws of what you can or cannot do do not apply. Could be the underlying motivation to build a supranational
lawless control system?
(Space data centers don’t make economically/physically sense to me: in addition to the launch cost and space control, you need to cool, which is tough in space)
