韓國語(한국어)에서 日本語(일본어) 長音(장음) 表記(표기)의 影響(영향)으로 해 왔던 「아파-트」(←アパート) 같은 外來語(외래어)의 長音(장음) 表記(표기)를 안 하게 된게 1978年(년) 末(말) 맞춤法(법) 改訂案(개정안) 以後(이후)부터구나.

1978年 12月 16日字東亞日報新聞紙面으로, 「現實에 맞춘 40年만의 語文修正」 헤드라인의 記事가 실려있음. 빨간色 네모로 強調된 部分은 「外來語長音表記 않고」라는 內容으로, 外來語長音表記를 더以上使用하지 않는 맞춤法改訂內容을 보여줌. 新聞은 傳統的인 縱書 레이아웃과 印刷 스타일을 갖춤.
