You can be the waves that roll a different way.

Fairly calm waters at the beach. The ocean has very small rolling waves of light blue, gray and deeper blue in a couple of spots. The surface also has a silvery metallic sheen, reflecting the light. There is white foam and little splashes throwing drops up at the tops of the small wavelets. The splashes show a little sunlight shining on the tops.

Further out on the water, the waves are rolling in straight toward us, but the nearest couple of waves are rolling in left to right in a slightly odd looking mix of wave directions.
