#Trans inmates in US federal prisons are on the verge of being forcibly detransitioned and moved to facilities of the wrong gender

Trans femmes in particular face the threat of state sanctioned rape in these facilities through the horrific practice known as “v-coding”, where prison staff have been known to give them to the most violent inmates as wives to “pacify” them

While lawyers are fighting on behalf of these prisoners in court, I am calling on everyone to take the following supporting actions:

1) flood the federal bureau of prisons with demands to end the cruel and unusual punishments of forced detransition, misgendering and v-coding. Their number is (202) 307-3198

2) use these websites to become a penpal to a trans person in federal custody, provide support and make sure their voices are heard
