⁃ Sphinx: still maintained
⁃ API docs and cross links: work out of the box
⁃ MyST (Markdown in Sphinx): still maintained
⁃ Furo, sphinx-book-theme, …: still maintained

No shade on Zensical here, I bet it’ll be great one day, but please don’t use MkDocs for your public projects. Please.
