Every time I see the 51.53% tax rate Germany charges me I have to wonder where does this money go since it's definitely not the school where my daughter goes, the road in our village, the Munich sbahn, or having to wait 3-6 months for a doctors appointment. Oh yes, not to forget it's not the military since it turned out we can't defend ourselves either 🤔
