With the #curl feature window opening tomorrow, there is a chance that this PR of mine will land soon.

Just some small changes to make #curl start the connect as soon as a DNS resolve comes in. This not only may shave off some milliseconds, it also uses less file handles, threads and memory.

And on top of that we can then make the TLS Encrypted Client Hello (ECH) feature more reliable.
