@khorbenPierre Pronchery 's new kernel feature into smolBSD: -I flag will instruct QEMU to load the image in an initrd RAM disk.While at it I made smol images smoler, here's an example of a fast, read only user shell microvm with basic UNIX tools and ssh client, all in 50MB https://github.com/NetBSDfr/smolBSD/tree/main/service/usershell
