In addition to all the great work happening in public spaces, one of the amazing things about the Fediverse that isn't readily apparent or obvious is how much cooperation is going on behind the scenes between different developers, products, platforms and companies to move things forward.

The best way for any of us to succeed individually is for us all to succeed collectively, and that creates positive sum incentives for collaboration over competition.
