It's also a performance, and to a first approximation the number of people in this industry who fully appreciate how important the performative aspect of care and trustworthiness is, is none. For almost everyone, computers are a thing that happened _to_ them. "A person who sits down with and listens and cares and shows they care" is wildly rare. A person who cares and shows them that they care, and shows them _how they can care too_, that person doesn't exist. Or, didn't, until you showed up.
