since watching one of mitchell hashimoto’s talks on testing ghostty, i’ve been really intrigued by the idea of using nixos to orchestrate qemu vms— especially to make some networking concepts more concrete

the stumbling point: my personal laptop is M1, which lacks nested virt, and I lack the patience to commit fully to nix on macos
