My initial experience on #Mastodon was quite disheartening.
I couldn't find things I liked, and even posting didn't feel entirely safe. I once posted about a new feature on I Write Like and got berated by a respectable-looking man for using as many as 3 tags for the post. That only added to my confusion.
Everything changed yesterday thanks to your helpful replies. I no longer feel like I'm sitting on a tree stump in the middle of nothingness. I have new accounts to explore. Thank you so much!
