I made a panettone as a test bake to see if it'd be worth doing for Christmas. I'll have to wait for it to cool down before tasting, but it doesn't look too bad.

#Baking

A round panettone fruit loaf cooling on a rack. Behind it is some of the paper I used to line the spring form pan. The top of the loaf is split in a cross shape where it had been scored, with some slightly crispy sultanas exposed.
