Reading between the lines, NLnet is telling you that it’ll be considerably easier to skip GenAI tools when working on their grants.

I came to a similar conclusion when *just* looking at the copyright and accountability issues for our consulting work: absolutely not.

Also all my open source projects have a corresponding policy.

You will already fail at “make sure you don’t accidentally produce copyrighted or incompatibly licensed code”. You can’t. Game over.
