セブン‐イレブン・ジャパンは6月5日、農林水産省から随意契約で調達した政府備蓄米を無洗米に加工し、6月17日から東京都・大阪府・愛媛県・香川県・徳島県・高知県の店舗で販売する発表した。価格は2kgパックで775円だ。
