For real, if you are not on tumblr, I don't know how to tell you how things have been over there in the last day, since tumblr staff announced the changes in engagement attribution and started rolling it out. Let's just say that the announcement post now has over 150k interations in ... 16 hours, with something like 40k comments that look like this:

<iframe width="640" height="480" allowfullscreen="true" autoplay="false" disablekbcontrols="false" enableiframeapi="false" endtime="0" ivloadpolicy="0" loop="false" modestbranding="true" origin playlist src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/J1EdQ-AwRU0?controls=0&modestbranding=1&rel=1" start="0"></iframe>

In my own timeline, about three out of four posts are about the changes, or people sharing their other socials so they not lose touch with their mutuals.

This may be the thing that actually kills tumblr for real, unlike the infamous porn ban from 2018.
