I try to strike a balance between sharing disturbing eyewitness reports from Minneapolis and doing what I can to make sure that we on the side of American Democracy know what the Republican Fascist forces are doing there. These comments are from a Minneapolis activist I trust, who is active on Bluesky. Reports like this are why I keep urging folks to do whatever they can to support the people of Minneapolis.
@heidilifeldman thank you for what you are doing. My son is a student at MCAD and I've been alternating between fear and anger for weeks. He works pay time in the school library and had a coworker snatched by Ice while he was walking home from work. The guy has worked at the school for over twenty years.
One of my greatest fears is that the public will grow tired of seeing the images and reading the stories and move on. We cannot afford for this to become normal.
