This is my best photo of the last night. It was just after I parked and set up the camera. I think this was near the peak at that location, because 5 minutes later it wasn't as good. As a result, my best photo has those annoying power lines in it.

Photo of Oct 10th aurora borealis. Top half of the photo has pink/magenta tint with stars visible through it.  Below it, is a band of green tint but powerlines running left to right over it. Bottom quarter contains the ground - dirt in the immediate foreground, a 2 lane asphalt road beyond it, and march beyond that.  In the distance near the horizon are lights from various (1-2 story) buildings.
