왼쪽이 아마 M16A 계열 한라봉, 오른쪽이 서귀포 오리지날 품종인 써니트 (썬이트) 품종 한라봉입니다. 이 품종은 개인 농가가 라이센스를 보유하고 있습니다. (최초 변이 발견자)
기본 한라봉도 품종 개량이 많이 되어서 외모나 색으론 구분이 쉽지 않아요.
써니트 한라봉이 좀 더 달고, 덜 시고, 과육이나 껍질이나 조금 더 붉은 편입니다.
