What I find particularly disturbing about #NZPol Foreign Minister Winston Peters, PM Luxon and DPM Seymour claiming that recognising the State of #Palestine would be rewarding Hamas while ignoring Israel's history of terrorism.

One wonders how well known the history of Israel's creation and the origins of the #IDF is known by the public.

I think I will email a link to this very good and balanced overview of that history to Luxon, Peters and Seymour's office and ask for a response.
