Subtoot: For multiple decades the USA has been detaining/deporting people on a tourist visa but with clear evidence they intended to work in the US, something a tourist visa never allowed.

Just because in a recent example the tourist is white (oh no, mean rules apply to white people now!) doesn't mean it wasn't done to countless people before. And is also done by most countries if a person doesn't have a work visa.

This isn't a Trump thing or even a USA exclusive.
