I think this could be the first sheep over the dam. I hope you can bring extra attention to this and a precedent can be created.

@bart @bert_hubertBert Hubert NL 🇺🇦🇪🇺🇺🇦 @fjFrédéric Jacobs If you want to be more alert - I recently looked into gTLDs and pretty much all of them are ultimately owned by one US company (Donuts Inc) - so look out for where your registry is - they might be subject to US law as well…

Interesting - there are gTLDs .cloud and .global, which supposedly according to an (I'm not sure if it's official) ICANN wiki are operated by a Norwegian company „cloudnames" https://icannwiki.org/CloudNames If you go the cloudnames.com though, you land at a website that doesn't seem to give you info or anything to figure out that this is a registry? And then you discover get.cloud, which though seems to be just an italian company operated website but offers advice on how to become a registrar??
