Spending 15 minutes typing up an in depth explanation of a programming concept: 2 upvotes

Telling someone who was trying to dunk on the author of an academic paper (which they hadn’t read) that they were being full of shit: 30 upvotes

“Programming influencer youtube sounds like a cesspool”: 250 upvotes

I mostly like programming reddit, and I stand by my position in each case, but this is probably bad.
