Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Dave Farber. He was a true pioneer who had major influence on the architecture of the Internet and tech policy. Sad news. Dave Farber was one of a small handful of Internet pioneers who understood early on the inseparable link between technology and policy.
Dave recruited me to U. Penn. He has been an influence on almost everything I’ve worked on in my career.
