graph theory vocabulary question

what is graph theory word for "the set of nodes that can be reached by traversing any depth in one direction (e.g. always forward, always backward) over edges in a directed graph" I keep wanting to call them "shadows" like "the nodes in the (forward/backwards) shadow of a"
