@spoon @peepeepoopoopKatie Notopoulos @taylorlorenz@mastodon.social @caseynewton @dywen I don't want to change my server from the main Mastodon server where everyone is to this one or any other niche one bc I lose out by doing that, but I guess I'll just encourage ppl to sub to multiple of my accounts. Doesn't seem like a great system! But I know Mastodon is wonky :/

I do not think this is the way to do this!

I think the *idea* is that you don't have to create multiple accounts. You can have *one* Mastodon account -- whether on dot social or the Forkiverse -- and then follow anybody else on any other server.

I understand why that might not be at all clear, and as a Mastodon cheerleader I’m frustrated that it continues to be this confusing :[

If you have a fediverse account, you can quote this note from your own instance. Search https://social.coop/users/jsit/statuses/115874656013293057 on your instance and quote it. (Note that quoting is not supported in Mastodon.)
