I really don't know how to feel that by far the most accurate predictions about AI were not from scientists or from serious hard scifi, but from scifi comedies like Hitchhikers and Red Dwarf

I saw this and immediately thought of the scene in Red Dwarf where the ship's new computer watches the second season of Rimmer's favourite show for him and then deletes it because she thought he wouldn't like it
