Today is #transdayofremembrance.

Today we mourn and pay tribute to the trans lives that have been lost, the trans voices that were silenced. Today, we maintain a keen awareness of our rights and the hardships, violence and hate that trans people are subjected to.

Today we celebrate those that are still with us, and the lives they have lived and have yet to live. Today we remember that we will not surrender to the forces that seek to destroy us.

Today we will remember loss, as well as strength.
