Since the sun came up this morning, my house has met almost all its heating, electricity and hot water needs from solar power ☀️

Just a shame not every day is like this tbh

(I’m trying to cram in as much heating as possible before we lose the sun at 1PM, due to our light at this time of the year)

My smart meter showing 0w current usage, a peak of 2kW at 6am, and then falling to nearly nothing by 12 noon. The total usage for today is 10.05kWh.The energy consumption graph from our heat pump, which shows how much energy it’s using every hour. It shows the same peak of 2kW at 4am, and starts falling until 9am when the sun comes up. The consumption increases after that, which shows that it’s still consuming energy that isn’t being imported from the national grid.
