2025年4月13日に開幕する「2025年日本国際博覧会（大阪・関西万博）」。バンダイナムコホールディングスは、開幕に先駆け、4月9日には関西初上陸となる「実物大ガンダム像」とパビリオン「GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION」の全容を初公開した。パビリオン施設の建設は前田建設工業、パビリオンの内装工事やガンダム像の施工は乃村工藝社がそれぞれ担当し、万博会場でも強い印象を残すパビリオンを実現した。
