A new kind of spam (for me at least): an e-mail addressing me in my role as an editor for an academic journal, proposing to pay 500$ per accepted manuscript for providing a "fast review track". Coming from an unnamed "academic institution that supports PhD researchers and faculty in publishing high‑quality research."
