it's not really a #DecemberAdventure because I'm not coding, but racking a new personal colocation machine is exercising me. haven't had to do some of this stuff in half a decade. new server better last longer than that.

edit: uh... turns out the last one was installed in 2014. could have sworn it was more recent than that. how is that hardware even still running
