Musk has announced an ambitious plan to send Tesla's Optimus humanoid to Mars by the end of 2026, on SpaceX’s massive Starship rocket. Optimus could capture insights from the planet while serving as a test-bed for future missions. After Optimus, Musk anticipates that human landings on Mars could commence as early as 2029. The Mars Starship stands nearly 124 m tall, the largest launch vehicle ever built. It is designed to be fully reusable, which is essential for long-term space missions.
