Gezeigt wird der Anteil fossiler Energien am Strommix in Prozent von 1990 bis 2025 für Länder wie Frankreich, Deutschland, Spanien, Italien, Polen, Schweden, Niederlande, Finnland, Tschechien, Österreich, Belgien, Griechenland, Portugal, Rumänien und Ungarn. In allen Diagrammen verläuft eine braune Linie, die den fossilen Anteil über die Zeit zeigt, sowie eine gestrichelte Linie bei 50 Prozent. In den meisten Ländern sinkt der fossile Anteil deutlich, besonders stark in den Niederlanden, Finnland, Portugal und Rumänien, während er in Ländern wie Frankreich und Schweden dauerhaft niedrig bleibt.
