I since discovered there *is* a way to inject import maps w/ JS! JSPM v4 does it too.
This is a GAMECHANGER.

It meant my vision of dependency mgmt in the browser w/ Node-like DX is possible, today!

βœ… No CDN
βœ… Granular caching

I *had* to build it. I dropped everything for 3 days, and now have a working prototype.
