Fun fact: "kuku" is Hokkien for "uncle" (on the maternal side). But if you get the tone wrong you will say p3nis instead 😁😁😁😁😁

Hokkien has 8-9 tones.

Also we have many ways to say aunt or uncle, each name indicates their seniority and which side of the family they are from. Get it wrong and you may risk offending some people*

* most modern families don't give af but elders probably will be 😑
