I haven't been on #mastodon for any amount of time really, but I already learned one thing: The most unfamiliar thing at the beginning (esp coming from #twitter) is when your homefeed is not moving.

I have some #mastodontips for that!

1. Find sb you know from another platform. I started exploring the #fediverse through a #fanfic exchange that has a profile here.

2. Go to their follower- and following-lists. See if anybody looks familiar (a lot of people have the same names or profile pics).
