I'm so grateful for Mujaddara as a food, that you can make it in the rice cooker so easily, that it is cheap, that it is delicious, that it is filling, that it is versatile, that it is consistently good

It's my favorite dish to make at home. I don't use a rice cooker, just a simple pot and I use tahin sauce instead of yogurt, but the principle is the same and it's the best thing ever.
