This was my intention with #fediprofile, I needed a simple, approachable way for non-fediverse people to create a profile, that could receive activitypub badges (hence a fediverse account).

An introduction of sorts, so that #fediprofile is the wallet. The CTA is configurable so you can put joinmastodon.org if you self-host badgefed, or any other link you want.

If you have a fediverse account, you can quote this note from your own instance. Search https://hachyderm.io/users/mapache/statuses/116186380582020939 on your instance and quote it. (Note that quoting is not supported in Mastodon.)
