The previous homeowner had great taste and picked super unique appliances and lighting fixtures for the house but dang it's so hard to find replacement parts for these things 😵

Some of these I could only get by ordering online, while some others are no longer supplied so I have to replace the whole thing.

I feel like software development is the same.
Sometimes you'd inherit a codebase, the dependencies become outdated and need update/replacement, so now it becomes your maintenance nightmare.
