The shortest book I read this year was also the one that took me longest to read. Not because it was bad, but just because it was in Japanese. 😁

I heard about γŠγ„γ—γ„γ”γ―γ‚“γŒι£ŸγΉγ‚‰γ‚ŒγΎγ™γ‚ˆγ†γ« when it won the Akutagawa Prize, so when I saw it in a bookshop in Shimokitazawa I thought I'd buy it (being a short novella, it seemed less daunting).

And I really enjoyed it, even though it was hard work 😁.
