With age comes getting excited about the strangest things.

Two pairs of house slippers on a shag carpet.
At the top a new pair of dark red, woolen ones looking very new. At the bottom an older pair in tartan blues with yellow and black accents. The bottom pair has seen a lot of use, having lost most of their insoles and ended up as misshapen blobs.
