I've been really lucky to have so many high profile men/allies support me in my journey. They shared their platform with me and actively sponsor my work.

But where are the women? Is it because I never sought out community with women because I never felt like I belonged there?

I don't know.

This is all starting to change though, and I think it came out of being intentional about who I platform and how. Where do I spend my time? How do I be intentional about the content I consume, and how do I increase the volume of industry content from people who identify as women or non-binary people?

When I go to product events now, I spend more time talking to women and non-binary people. These conversations are so much better.

Once you start looking, you find an incredible gold mine of brilliant tech people, like:
- @RuthMalan
- @dahukannaDawn Ahukanna
- @grimalkinaCat Hicks
- @elizayerElizabeth Ayer
- @hazelweakly
- @renata
- @iris_meredithIris
- @mcc
- @cwebberChristine Lemmer-Webber

All people who absolutely need to be platformed more.

What's your content diet, and how do actively shift your consumption to something more interesting?
