@khleedril Quantum computers deal with "qubits" instead of bits. This means each bit exists in a superposition of 0 and 1, and may be entangled with other qubits. Superposition and entanglement are fundamental properties of the universe; they can't be measured exactly, or copied, only moved around.

But a problem: different kinds of quantum computer represent qubits different ways. And until they made this device, you couldn't convert between different physical representations of qubits.
