I imagine a sort of cyber-gnosticism. The Internet is the real world, because it is the world of ideas; physical reality is an isolated special case, a tiny winnowing of what is possible. But ideas can encompass anything and my mind lives in the world of ideas, my mind reaches across the sea of ideas to touch the other minds in the bigger world, the true world the Internet is a tiny beachhead into—
