Simplenote is probably the single piece of software I depend on most. I use it for everything— todo lists, calendars, there's so many things that a text editor with sync and search can do.

Over the last two months Simplenote has been degrading. First paste stopped working right, then it started throwing the "couldn't sync" error even when there was nothing to sync, then it frequently started just not saving text I entered, seemingly without giving the "couldn't sync" error, yeeting into void.
